I hope you are having a great summer, in England the sun is officially out so naturally we are all complaining about it đ
I am playing a Victorian lady next week so I am trying to cover myself in Factor 50 so as to not get brown.. it probably would be more use if I actually sat indoors and covered myself up, but the English sun is such a rare and beautiful thing that one has to sit in it.

This Thursday 18th July, 8pm UK time is when my Resonance FM show is on. It is a mix of some interviews, creative stuff, some clips of my songs.. and for me the most exciting the world premiere of my Londontown club mix. Yes, Andrew Hyde and I have finally finished it, there has been blood, sweat and tears.. well a lot of crumpets and coffee anyway plus Andrew’s wife Alex kept us alive with some truly magnificent cake but it is finished đ
Andrew is just doing some technical wizardry on the club edit – the current version is for the clubs’ so is 7 minutes long and then we will get on with releasing that.
So as you are a blog reader of mine I can tell you that the track will be played 32 minutes into the radio show, so 8.32pm
Once the show has aired you can replay so I will get the link and post it.
The show covers
Marysiaâs Love Your Creativity Episode 1
Marysia Trembecka talks about creativity, her own and others and tips on how to keep being inspired and moving forward no matter what. Itâs the world premiere of her dance tune Londontown plus she interviews Earl Okin on developing audience charm and Ryan Lock on Being Your Own Publicist.
This show shares some techniques successful creatives use to get the work done and out there, no matter where they work full time as an actor, a choreographer, a writer or have a yearning to paint more over the weekends.
She interviews creatives from all areas of the arts and thus is picking up lots of tips to pass on.
In this episode we also look at at a great tracking technique that ensures people really are focusing on producing creative work rather than just talking about the play or scuplture they would like to write once they leave the pub and stop watching X Factor.
This show also is the world premiere of the club remix of Londontown which Marysia is very excited about. Andrew Hyde and Marysia have spent months working on this so it is lovely to get the track out of the studio and on the radio đ
Marysia is an actress, singer and musician who is fascinated by the process of creativity. She has a very popular blog and podcast on being creative, from that initial sparkle of the thought âI couldâ to actually finishing it and getting your âartâ out there. She writes and performs her own shows that comprise of music, characters and comedy which she has performed across the world.
Interview with Earl Okin, singer, songwriter, pianist, comedian
He was on stage at three years of age, has opened for Paul McCartney and Wings on their 1980s world tour, he is an incredibly funny and talented performer who has spent his last 60 years entertaining. Due to his familyâs history he has echoes of the music hall but has âEntertainerâ on his passport, a one man variety show. He stopped in 2000 at Edinburgh having done 18 years straight, a record at the time of being most performed there.
So the interview covers advice on doing a one man show and his understanding of audience charm , play some of his great tunes and finish with a jam, Earl on piano, singing and doing a âfauxâ trumpet and Marysia singing
Interview with Ryan James Lock., publicist
Marysia chats to Ryan about his ebook âBe Your Own Publicistâ and get some advice and tips on what creatives can do to promote a show, exhibition or event they are working on as part of the selling of their own work. The first half of Ryanâs course Be Your Own Publicistâ is about getting in the right mindset and coaching ;
Asking yourself who is your ideal listener, buyer, client?
What beliefs are you holding that keep you from going forward and getting yourself out there as a great brand or product that people want to talk about and buy.
Plus he gives some great advice to a creative who is about to launch a product.
