Here are a some current submission and competition requests, everything from feature film scripts to guest editing an arts magazine, soundscapes and a David Bowie lyrical Art Exhibition. They are in no particular order deliberately to stimulate you on what might be possible creatively, I have mentioned the deadlines.

I am one of six singers becoming a megaphonista tomorrow Saturday May Bank Holiday at the Royal Festival Hall, we are singing on the Southbank to then join up with a huge choir for a special river wide surprise. Mary King who runs all the Voicelab work at the Southbank told us on our single rehearsal (which was largely dominated by us getting excited blasting each other’s ears out as opposed to learning the actual tune)

‘I have selected you all very carefully, I need singers who don’t have any fear, are happy to be strong and wrong and don’t panic when things go awry. You just adapt’

After all the years of being told I needed to work more on my craft rather than just thinking up the idea, producing it and taking it onto the nearest stage, (and yes I have really worked on my craft ongoingly since) it is nice to know my basic tendency to just dream it, perform it and worry about it later is being recognised as a positive. I tell you this to inspire you to make a new piece of work or enter an already worked piece of work, a script, a song, a painting. Finish something you have started and get it out the door!

As with my Podcast Interview with Jason Hewitt you have got to hit SEND!

So here is my creative effort, which is not perfect but done; a VINE taken at 4.30am Friday night when I couldn’t sleep, the day before I moved out of my flat, finding beauty and weirdness in half asleep moments!! Nothing like arranging candles and Chinese lucky cats late at night quietly so not to wake my removal helpers ;-)) Posting this to make you think, if Marysia can have a go, I definitely can!
